About Authentic Designs

Authentic Designs, Inc. was started in 1999 by Dean Jones. Dean, who had a passion for fine woodworking as a young teen, has studied and practiced the art of fine woodworking and related materials for over 20 years. Focusing on the details of fine carpentry, interior architecture and custom cabinetry, he has created designs that have yet to be duplicated. His approach to woodworking not only focuses on what the finished product looks like, but also how it feels to the touch. His love for the craft is reflected in the designs created in the fine homes he has completed from Pasadena to La Jolla and Rancho Santa Fe.
